A bill to establish a commission to study proposals for establishing the National Academy of Peace and Conflict Resolution.
National Academy of Peace and Conflict Resolution Commission Act - Establishes a Commission on Proposals for the National Academy of Peace and Conflict Resolution to study whether to establish such an academy and alternative proposals which would assist the Federal Government in promoting peace.
Directs the Commission to review the theory and techniques of conflict resolution and the existing institutions for conflict resolution in international relations. Directs the Commission to report its findings to the President and the Congress within one year from the availability of appropriations. Authorizes the appropriation of $500,000 to carry out this Act.
