A Bill to provide for a research, development, and demonstration program to determine the feasibility of developing solar space power satellite systems to generate electricity for domestic and export purposes.
NASA Solar Power Satellite Program Act - Directs the Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to initiate a Solar Power Satellite Research, Development, and Demonstration Program to study technical problems regarding the viability of the solar power satellite concept.
Requires the Administrator to submit to Congress, by September 30, 1979, a comprehensive plan to implement the Program.
