A bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to provide that support and maintenance furnished by a relative to a recipient of supplemental security income benefits shall not be considered income, and for other purposes.

Amends Title XVI (Supplemental Security Income for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled) of the Social Security Act to exclude from the definition of "income" under such Title any support or maintenance furnished in kind to a recipient of supplemental security income benefits (and his eligible spouse, if any) by a relative, for purposes of determining the eligibility of such recipient for benefits under the Supplemental Security Income Program. Specifies a formula for determining the value of such support or maintenance.
