A bill to create a Great Smoky Mountains Wilderness Area within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Great Smoky Mountains Wilderness Act - Designates lands which comprise 475,000 acres in the Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina and Tennessee as wilderness to be administered by the Secretary of the Interior. Excludes the Mount Le Conte Lodge from the wilderness area and designates it as a potential wilderness area.
Makes provisions for the acquisition of such lands.
