A bill to improve the operation and extend the scope of the Federal Advisory Committee Act.
Federal Advisory Committee Act Amendments - Expands the applicability of the Federal Advisory Committee Act to advisory bodies created by specified agencies. Requires the President to maintain a list of all Federal advisory body members and their business affiliation. Requires charters and reports filed by such a body be made available to the public.
Requires notice of advisory body meetings to be published in the Federal Register, including notice of closed meetings. Permits any person to challenge the appropriateness of closing any such meeting. Requires such bodies to report the receipt and disposition of any nonappropriated funds.
Provides for judicial and administrative enforcement of the Act.
