A bill to extend the rural community fire protection program.

Amends the Rural Development Act of 1972 to extend the rural community fire protection program through September, 1980.

Directs the Secretary of Agriculture to report annually to the Congress on the assistance sought and rendered under the program. Directs the Secretary to encourage, with the assistance of the Administrator of General Services, the use by rural fire forces of Federal personal property not required by the agency or department holding it.
