Authorizes the expenditure of $226,000 from the contingent fund of the House of Representatives for the expenses of a study by the House Committee on Education and Labor of the effect of the Employment Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 on private and public pension and welfare plans.
Stipulates that $10,000 of the total amount may be used to procure the temporary services of consultants. Requires the Subcommittee on Labor Standards, through the Committee on Education and Labor, to report to the House during the present Congress the results of its investigations together with recommendations.
