A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 to allow a credit for amounts paid by certain individuals over age 65 for qualifying real property taxes and rent constituting real property taxes with respect to such individual's principal residence.
Older Americans Property Tax Relief Act - Authorizes, under the Internal Revenue Code, any individual who has attained the age of 65 to take a nonrefundable tax credit for a percentage of the amount of real property taxes or the amount of rent constituting real property taxes paid or accrued by the taxpayer during the taxable year.
