A bill to amend the Buy American Act to provide that the price of domestic goods shall not be deemed unreasonable unless it exceeds the price of foreign goods by more than 50 percent.

States that the costs of goods manufactured in the United States and required for public use shall not be deemed unreasonable under the Buy American Act unless the price of such goods is 50 percent higher than like foreign-made goods.
