A bill to amend title 10 of the United States Code in order to eliminate or reduce certain deductible payments by patients for treatment under the uniformed services health benefits program, and to repeal the provision of law prohibiting CHAMPUS benefits to persons entitled to medicare benefits.

Eliminates the present payment which a patient who is a dependent of a member of the uniformed services on active duty is required to make for medical treatment under the civilian health and medical plan of the uniformed services (CHAMPUS).

Removes the requirement that members of the uniformed services pay a share of the costs for inpatient treatment for their dependents. Reduces the payments for other specified members of the uniformed services and their dependents for medical services. Repeals the present prohibition on CHAMPUS benefits for persons entitled to medicare benefits.
