Eliminates the present payment which a patient who is a dependent of a member of the uniformed services on active duty is required to make for medical treatment under the civilian health and medical plan of the uniformed services (CHAMPUS).
Removes the requirement that members of the uniformed services pay a share of the costs for inpatient treatment for their dependents. Reduces the payments for other specified members of the uniformed services and their dependents for medical services. Repeals the present prohibition on CHAMPUS benefits for persons entitled to medicare benefits.
