A bill to amend title 28 of the United States Code to establish a Judicial Nominating Commission to advise the President with respect to nominations to judgeships in certain Federal courts.
Judicial Nominating Commission Act - Establishes the Federal Judicial Nominating Commission, composed of panels for each of the Federal courts of appeals circuits, whose duty shall be to identify, according the specified procedures, and recommend to the President persons such panels consider to be best qualified to fill a vacancy whenever one occurs in an office of judge for a United States district court or a United States court of appeals.
