Requires Members of Congress, congressional candidates, and employees of Congress to file financial disclosure statements revealing: (1) the amounts and sources of income including gifts, honorariums, and compensation for publication of written works which exceed $100; (2) the value of all assets held by such person individually or jointly with his or her spouse valued at over $5,000; and (3) any business transaction involving such person and involving an amount exceeding in $5,000.
Requires such statements to be made annually to the Comptroller General who is directed by this Act to make them available to the public.
