Directs the Secretary of Agriculture and the Secretary of the Interior to jointly provide for a study of a Southern Appalachian Slope National Recreation Area at a specified location on the southern slope of the Appalachian highlands in areas of the States of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia.
Requires a report to the Congress on the feasibility of the establishment of such an area, and of the estimated costs thereof.
