A bill to amend title II and XVIII of the Social Security Act to eliminate the waiting period for disabled individuals to become entitled to coverage under the medicare program.

Amends Titles II (Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance) and XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act and the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974 to eliminate the requirement that an individual be entitled to disability benefits for at least 24 consecutive months in order to qualify for hospital insurance benefits under the Medicare program.
