A bill to amend title 13, United States Code, to require that population census records be transferred to the National Archives within 50 years after a census, and that such records be made available after 75 years to persons conducting research for genealogical, historical, or medical purposes.

Requires the Secretary of Commerce to transfer population census records to the Administrator of General Services for deposit with the National Archives within 50 years of the date of such a census. Makes such information available 50 years after the census date for purposes of medical research and 75 years after such date for genealogical or historical purposes.
