A bill to amend the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 so as to prohibit the use for political purposes of certain funds collected by labor organizations from their members.

Amends the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act to prohibit use by a labor organization of any money, other than sums voluntarily contributed to a separate fund, collected from any person subject to a compulsory membership agreement for any purpose not directly related to representing employees or promoting or defeating legislation directly affecting such role.
