A bill to provide for immediate action by the Federal agencies concerned to protect the public more effectively against asbestos contamination.

Directs the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Food and Drug Administration, and any other appropriate Federal agency to take action within their respective jurisdictions to provide more effective protection against asbestos in the air, the water, and in the production and distribution of goods and services.
