Amends Title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to provide payment for rural health clinic services pursuant to program of Supplementary Medical Insurance Benefits for the Aged and Disabled of such Title.
Sets forth procedures for controlling the budgets of rural health clinics covered by this Act.
Authorizes the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare to carry out demonstration projects for health clinics in urban areas where the supply of medical services is not sufficient to meet the needs of individuals residing therein.
