Amends the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 to authorize the appropriation to the Land and Water Conservation Fund of such amounts as are necessary to make the income of the Fund not less than $900,000,000 for fiscal year 1978.
Creates a special account within the Fund, the appropriations from which shall be available only for specified acquisitions of lands and waters.
Directs the Secretary of the Interior to notify Congress prior to the expenditure of $1,000,000 or more in excess of a statutory ceiling placed on the Fund.
Permits the Secretary, under specified conditions, to make minor revisions of the boundaries of an area of the national park system and to acquire adjacent lands to such areas.
Lowers from 62 to 60 years, the age of persons eligible for lifetime admission permits to national parks, known as Golden Age Passports.
Prohibits the inclusion of any new admission fee or the extension of any season of collection of any existing admission fee at any unit of the national park system from January 1, 1977.
