Authorizes the Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to: (1) conduct research and development programs on the nature, forecasting and detection of short-term weather phenomena, and on ways of disseminating information, concerning such weather conditions, to the public; and (2) prepare a plan for the establishment of an Office of Short-Term Weather Phenomena.
Requires the Administrator to coordinate all such activities with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Authorizes appropriations not in excess of $10,000,000 to carry out the purposes of this Act.
