A bill to assure that weather modification activities and the collection of hydrometeorological information necessary to the management of water resources can be conducted in conjunction with the management and administration of wilderness areas and other Federal lands.

Authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture and the Secretary of the Interior to permit the conduct of weather modification activities and environmental research which are within, or may affect areas which are a part of the national wilderness preservation system or other Federal lands and to permit access, installation, and use of equipment which is specifically justified and located within practical application of miniaturization, telemetry, and camouflage.
