A bill to amend title 5, United States Code, to include as creditable service for purposes of the civil service retirement system certain periods of service by individuals before the date they were employed by the Panama Canal Company or the Panama Railroad Company.

Counts as creditable service for purposes of the civil service retirement system service by individuals creditable under the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974 performed before such person is employed by the Panama Canal Company or the Panama Railroad Company if such person is so employed before January 1, 1978.
