A bill to amend titles IV, XI and XIX of the Social Security Act to increase the Federal matching rate for purposes of reimbursement to States under the programs of aid to needy families with children and medical assistance, and to require that the entire non-Federal share of such aid and assistance be paid from State (rather than local) funds.
Amends Title IV (Aid to Families with Dependent Children), Title XVIII (Medicare), and Title XIX (Medicaid) of the Social Security Act to provide that the Federal matching rate for purposes of reimbursement to States under the programs of aid to needy families with children and medical assistance shall be set at 75 percent. Requires that the non-Federal share of such aid be paid from State (rather than local) funds.
