A bill to amend the Walsh-Healey Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to provide for an exemption from the maximum hours requirements thereof in cases relating to certain holidays.

Exempts from the maximum hours provisions of the Walsh Healey Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act, instances where a group of employees elect to work up to 48 hours during the week before a legal public holiday in return for additional leave during the week in which the holiday falls.
