A bill to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to erect a memorial in honor of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence in Constitution Gardens in the District of Columbia.
Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to establish a memorial in honor of the men who signed the Declaration of Independence in Constitution Gardens in the District of Columbia.
Directs the Administrator of the American Revolution Bicentennial Administration to prepare the design and plans for such memorial.
Limits the expenditures for the design and establishment of such memorial to $500,000 of the funds available to the American Revolution Bicentennial Administration, other than appropriated funds. Authorizes the appropriation of such funds as are necessary to maintain the memorial.
