A bill to amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to require the Commissioner of Education to make payments of interest for eligible students within thirty days of receipt of a proper voucher.

Requires the Commissioner of Education, under the Higher Education Act, to make payments of interest and administrative costs on federally assisted student loans to holders of such loans on behalf of the accounts of borrowers within 30 days of receipt by the Commissioner of an itemized voucher.
