A bill to amend title 5, United States Code, to provide that any Federal employee retiring with accrued sick leave shall be entitled to elect to receive payment for such leave (in lieu of having such leave used in determining his retirement annuity).

Entitles Federal employees retiring with accrued sick leave to elect to receive a lump-sum payment for such leave equal to the amount such employees would have received had they remained in the service until expiration of the period of sick leave. Specifies that if such election is made, the accrued sick leave may not be used in determining total service or retirement annuities.
