A bill to extend title II of the Public Works Employment Act of 1976 for five additional quarters.

Amends the Public Works Employment Act of 1976 to extend the authorization for financial payments to States and localities under such Act for an additional five calendar quarters. Increases the authorization of appropriations for such purposes from $1,250,000,000 to $2,500,000,000.
