A bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to eliminate the 33 1/3 percent reduction in SSI benefits which is presently imposed when the recipient is living in another person's household, and to provide that support and maintenance furnished the recipient in kind by such other person by disregarded in determining such recipient's income for SSI purposes.

Amends Title XVI (Supplemental Security Income for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled) to eliminate the reduction in supplemental security income benefits which is presently imposed when the recipient is living in another person's household. Directs that support and maintenance furnished the recipient in kind by such other person be disregarded in determining such recipient's income for supplemental security income purposes.
