A bill to provide authority for the President to stabilize prices, wages, interest rates, and corporate dividends.
Economic Stabilization Act - Authorizes the President, through fiscal year 1981, to issue such orders and regulations as deemed appropriate to stabilize prices, rents, wages, and salaries at levels not less than those prevailing on October 1, 1978, and to stabilize interest rates and corporate dividends and similar transfers at levels consistent with orderly economic growth.
Sets forth criminal penalties for, and provides for injunctive relief from, violations of any such orders.
