A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 to exclude $1,000 of interest from savings from the gross income of certain taxpayers.

Amends the Internal Revenue Code to exclude from gross income interest earned on savings deposits. Limits such exclusion to $1,000 per taxpayer with a dollar per dollar reduction in the exclusion for taxpayers with income in excess of specified levels.
