A bill to provide procedures for review of the conduct of each justice and judge of the United States to determine that such conduct is consistent with the good behavior required by article III, section 1 of the Constitution, and for other purposes.
Judicial Independence and Integrity Act - Sets forth procedures for the preliminary investigations of complaints regarding the conduct of a Federal judge or justice by the Senate Judiciary Committee. Provides for further investigation by the House Judiciary Committee upon referral of a complaint by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Authorizes and directs the House Judiciary Committee to review the conduct of each Federal judge and justice every eight years to determine if such conduct is consistent with the good behavior required by the Constitution.
