A bill to amend the Older Americans Act of 1965 to establish a National Commission on Housing for the Elderly.

Amends the Older Americans Act of 1965 to establish the National Commission on Housing for the Elderly.

Requires the Commission to study, investigate, and review: (1) present Federal programs to provide low- and middle-income housing for senior citizens; (2) the need for additional housing; (3) the feasibility of utilizing existing slum or abandoned central city housing to create senior citizen communities after rehabilitation; (4) the need for physical, social, cultural, and religious activities in senior citizen communities; and (5) the need for a living environment which provides adequate safeguards for the security of the residents.
