A bill to amend the Farmer-to-Consumers Direct Marketing Act of 1976 for the purposes of directing the Secretary of Agriculture to make grants to assist persons in developing innovative methods of direct marketing and extending the authorization of appropriations of such Act, and for other purposes.
Amends the Farmer-to-Consumer Direct Marketing Act of 1976 to extend for one year until September 30, 1979, at the current level of $1,500,000 the authorization of appropriations for direct marketing assistance within the States.
