A bill to provide for the protection and preservation of a certain area in the Santa Monica Mountains in the State of California under a greenline park and preserve system established and administered by State and local governments with Federal assistance, and for other purposes.
Santa Monica Mountains Greenline Park and Preserve Act - Establishes the Santa Monica Mountains Greenline Park and Preserve in California.
Directs the Secretary of the Interior, and the heads of other relevant Federal agencies, to cooperate with the Santa Monica Mountains Comprehensive Planning Commission in developing a plan for the protection and preservation of the area. Specifies the elements to be included in such plan.
Provides for grants for the acquisition of lands and park development, upon the approval of the development plan.
Establishes a Santa Monica Mountains Park and Preserve Oversight and Administrative Commission. Directs the Commission to implement the development plan and annually report on such development to the Secretary.
