A bill to amend title 5, United States Code, to provide that any Federal employee retiring with accrued sick leave shall be entitled to a lump-sum payment for one-third of such days, and the amount of such sick leave such employee is entitled to have included in years of service for computing his retirement annuity shall be limited to one-third of such sick leave, and for other purposes.

Entitles Federal employees retiring with accrued sick leave to elect to receive a lump-sum payment for such leave equal to one-third of the amount such employees would have received had they remained in the service until expiration of the period of sick leave. Limits the amount of sick leave such employees are entitled to have included in years of service for computing their retirement annuities to one-third of the days of any such employee's unused sick leave.
