A bill to amend title II of the Social Security Act to reduce from 20 to 5 years the length of time a divorced women's marriage to an insured individual must have lasted in order for her to qualify for wife's or widow's benefits on his wage record.

Amends Title II (Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act to decrease from 20 to 5 the number of years a divorced woman must have been married to an insured individual in order for her to qualify for wife's or widow's benefits on his wage record.
