A bill to amend the Older Americans Act of 1965 to provide that certain municipalities shall upon request be designated as planning and service areas, and for other purposes.

Amends the Older Americans Act of 1965: (1) to redefine the requirements by which a unit of local government is designated as a planning and service agency in terms of age and population; and (2) to require an area agency on aging to transfer funds, on a proportionate basis, directly to any unit of general purpose local government which contains 20 percent or more of the population aged 60 or over of the planning and service area.
