Entitles former spouses of members of the armed forces who were married to the member for at least ten years to a portion of that member's retired or retainer pay.
Entitles such former spouses to a portion of the annuity of the surviving spouse of such member. Stipulates that such a member may not elect not to provide an annuity under the Survivor Benefit Plan without the consent of the member's spouse and any former spouses.
