A bill to amend title 38, United States Code, to give veterans asserting discrimination in employment because of veteran's status the same procedural rights as persons covered under title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Allows disabled veterans and Vietnam era veterans who claim employment discrimination based on their status as veterans by either specified Federal Government contractors or a department, agent, or instrumentality of the executive branch, and who have exhausted their administrative remedies, to file a civil action with the same procedural rights as persons under an unlawful employment practices proceeding covered by the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
