A bill to provide that only citizens and aliens lawfully admitted for permanent residence may be tenants in federally assisted housing or may receive certain other housing related benefits from the Federal Government.

States that only citizens of the United States and aliens lawfully admitted for permanent residence are eligible: (1) to be tenants in Federally-assisted housing; (2) to receive rehabilitation loans under the Housing Act of 1964; (3) to receive home ownership assistance under the National Housing Act; and (4) to receive loans or grants for farm housing and farm buildings under the Housing Act of 1949.
