A bill to permit suits under section 1983 of title 42, United States Code, against persons acting under color of any law or custom of the District of Columbia.

Permits actions for deprivations of rights under color of any law or custom of the District of Columbia under the provision of the Civil Rights Act which permits civil actions for deprivation of Federal rights under color of State or territorial law.
