A bill to amend the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, as amended, to require that the label of drug containers, as dispensed to the patient, bear the established or trade name, the quantity and strength of the drug dispensed.

Amends the Federal, Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to require: (1) prescription drug labels to contain the established name of the drug or its trade name; and (2) combination drug labels to contain the active ingredients and the quantity and strength of the drug.
