Authorizes additional expenditures by the Senate Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs from March 1, 1975, through February 29, 1976, for inquiries and investigations.

Directs that the expenses of the committee under this resolution shall not exceed $624,900, of which amount not to exceed $35,000 shall be available for the procurement of the services of individual consultants.

Requires the committee to continue the study of national fuels and energy policy authorized pursuant to S. Res. 45, agreed to on May 3, 1971, and in carrying out the purposes authorized by S. Res. 45, to make: (1) a full and complete investigation and study of the current and prospective fuel and energy resources and requirements of the United States and the present and probable future alternative procedures and methods for meeting anticipated requirements; and (2) a full and complete investigation and study of the existing and prospective governmental policies and laws affecting the fuels and energy industries with the view of determining what, if any, changes and implementation of these policies and laws may be advisable in order to simplify, coordinate, and provide effective and reasonable national policy to assure reliable and efficient sources of fuel and energy.
