A resolution authorizing additional expenditures by the Special Committee on Aging.

Extends the life of the Special Committee on Aging, established by Senate Resolution 33, 87th Congress, through February 29, 1976.

Directs the committee to make a continuing study and investigation of any and all matters pertaining to problems and opportunities of older people, including but not limited to, problems and opportunities of maintaining health, of assuring adequate income, of finding employment, of engaging in productive and rewarding activity, of securing proper housing, and, when necessary, of obtaining care or assistance.

Grants the Committee specified powers to carry out its functions.

Provides that the minority shall receive fair consideration in the appointment of staff personnel pursuant to this resolution.

Directs that for the period from March 1, 1975, through February 29, 1976, the expenses of the committee shall not exceed $485,100.

Requires the committee to report the results of its study and investigation, together with recommendations, to the Senate of the earliest practicable date, but not later than February 29, 1976.
