Requests the President of the United States to undertake an investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding the bombing and death of Orlando Letelier in Washington, D.C. on September 21, 1976.
Directs the President to transmit an unclassified and public report to Congress giving results of the investigation within 120 days after enactment of this resolution.
Stipulates that failure to transmit such a report to Congress will result in suspension of U.S. Government economic assistance to the Government of Chile during the period July 1, 1976 through September 30, 1977.
