Amends the Federal Coal Mine Health and Safety Act of 1969 to make the provisions of the Longshoremen's and Harbor Worker's Compensation Act relating to the adjudication and processing of claims for benefits applicable to claims for benefits under Part C of the Black Lung Benefits Act of 1972.
Authorizes the Secretary of Labor to utilize hearing officers not appointed pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 3105 in the adjudication of black lung claims until December 31, 1977.
Makes the provisions of this resolution effective July 1, 1973.
