Vocational Education Amendments

Vocational Education Amendments - Authorizes appropriations, under the Vocational Education Act, of $60,000,000 for each of fiscal years 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979 and 1980 for vocational education programs for persons with academic, socioeconomic, or other handicaps which prevent them from succeeding in regular vocational education programs.

Authorizes additional appropriations under such Act for specified programs, including (1) employment of technical assistance by the National Advisory Council on Vocational Education, (2) grants for exemplary programs and projects, and (3) demonstration schools.

Authorizes appropriations of $50,000,000 for each of fiscal years 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979 and 1980 for consumer and homemaking education programs.

Authorizes additional appropriations for cooperative vocational education programs and work-study programs for vocational education students.
