A bill to amend title 28 of the United States Code to provide that petit juries in the U.S. district courts shall consist of six jurors, except in trails for capital offenses.

Provides that petit juries in U.S. district courts shall consist of six jurors, except that respect to a criminal case involving an offense punishable by death the petit jury shall consist of 12 jurors. (Adds 28 U.S.C. 1875)
