A bill to provide for the acquisition and preservation of works of art in Federal buildings.
Federal Building Works of Art Program Act - Authorizes the appropriation for fiscal years 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, and 1981 of at least one-half of one percent but not more than one percent of the sum appropriated for the design and construction of public buildings to acquire suitable works of art for such buildings.
Authorizes the Administrator of General Services to acquire suitable works of art, to establish procedures for the award of commissions for such work, and to establish procedures to encourage local artists to participate in such a program.
